ARGUS 2020 Etching grid

These high precision grids include the new triangulated measurement points and integrated start points. These are designed for low photogrammetry error for the high precision measurements required for automotive formability. The ARGUS 2020 software uses these start points to automatically create the mesh result for all of the grids simultaneously. The operator no longer needs to use additional time creating individual grids.

The time savings provided is significant and shown below:

• Grids w/o Start Points: Typical 4 Grids = 24 minutes for Creation and computation
• Grids w/ Start Points: Typical 4 Grids = 9 minutes for Creation and computation

Grids with Auto Start Point offer a 62.5% time saving during the formability reporting process. This is a significant savings of 90 hours/year or $3,400/year for a typical user.
